Pokémon TCG × Santa Cruz Has 30 Collectible Skateboard Designs

Pokémon TCG and Santa Cruz Skateboards have teamed up for a 30th-anniversary collection featuring 30 different card-inspired skateboard decks and three ultra-limited gold chase variants.

Pokémon collectors have a new kind of collectible to chase.

Pokémon TCG and Santa Cruz Skateboards have released a new blind-bag skateboard collection celebrating 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The collaboration combines iconic Pokémon card artwork with Santa Cruz's classic skateboard designs, creating a collection aimed at both TCG fans and skateboard collectors.

The collection officially launched worldwide on October 17, 2026, and is available through Pokémon Center, the Santa Cruz online store and participating local skate shops.

30 Different Pokémon TCG Designs

The centerpiece of the collection is a lineup of 30 different skateboard decks, with each design inspired by artwork from a Pokémon TCG card.

Rather than simply placing a card image onto a skateboard, Santa Cruz created new deck graphics around the original artwork. The designs incorporate elements such as Pokémon TCG Energy types and visual themes connected to the featured Pokémon and cards.

The lineup spans multiple eras of the Pokémon TCG, giving longtime collectors plenty of recognizable designs to look for. Among the featured cards are iconic Pokémon such as Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pikachu, Gengar, Rayquaza, Mew, Lugia, Umbreon and Sylveon.

The Skateboards Come in Blind Bags

Here's where the collection gets particularly interesting for collectors.

You don't get to choose your design.

Each skateboard is sealed inside a blind bag, meaning buyers don't know which of the 30 standard designs they have received until the package is opened. It's essentially bringing the surprise element of opening a Pokémon TCG booster pack into the world of skateboard collecting.

Each deck measures 8 inches by 31.6 inches and is a fully rideable skateboard deck once the necessary hardware is added. However, given the collectible nature of the designs, these boards are likely to spend plenty of time on display rather than at the skatepark.

And Then There Are Three Gold Chase Decks

The 30 standard designs aren't the entire collection.

Santa Cruz and Pokémon have also created three special glitter-gold foil chase variants. Instead of featuring a single card design, these special boards use collages made from multiple Pokémon TCG cards.

Even more importantly for collectors, each of the three gold variants is limited to only 500 copies worldwide. That means just 1,500 gold chase decks exist across the three variants.

The exact odds of finding one of the gold boards in a blind bag have not been announced, making the chase even more mysterious.

A Collector's Guide Comes With Every Deck

Each blind-bag deck also comes with a Limited Edition Pokémon Player's Guide.

The booklet features the 30 standard deck designs along with the three chase variants, giving collectors a way to keep track of the designs they have found and the ones still missing from their collection.

A collectible co-branded Santa Cruz × Pokémon sticker is also included.

More Than Just Skateboards

The collaboration extends beyond the decks.

The wider Pokémon TCG × Santa Cruz collection also includes apparel and grip tape, giving fans additional ways to collect the collaboration without necessarily chasing all 30 skateboard designs.

This is also not the first time Pokémon and Santa Cruz have teamed up. The brands previously released a Pokémon skateboard collection in 2023, but the 2026 collaboration takes a different approach by putting Pokémon TCG card artwork at the center of the collection.

A Pokémon Collection Designed Like a TCG Chase

What makes this collaboration stand out is how closely its collecting format mirrors the Pokémon TCG itself.

There are multiple designs to collect, the contents of each sealed package are randomized, and there are extremely limited chase variants waiting to be discovered.

For Pokémon fans who already enjoy collecting cards, the concept is immediately familiar—only this time, the collectible is nearly four feet of skateboard deck instead of a trading card.

And with 30 standard designs plus three gold chase variants, completing the collection could become a serious challenge for dedicated collectors.

The Pokémon TCG × Santa Cruz collection is available now, with the blind-bag decks released worldwide on October 17.
