Bushiroad is heading into 2027 with a packed TCG lineup.
Following the company’s Bushiroad TCG Strategy Presentation 2026 Autumn on October 28, Bushiroad has revealed a wide range of upcoming products, digital initiatives, collaborations and organized-play plans across its trading card game portfolio.
Rather than focusing on a single release, the presentation showed just how broad Bushiroad’s TCG strategy has become, with major updates spanning Palworld Official Card Game, Shadowverse EVOLVE, Weiß Schwarz, Weiß Schwarz Online and The Quintessential Quintuplets Card Game, along with new products and events across the company's other titles.
Here are some of the biggest announcements.
Palworld Official Card Game Expands Into 2027
The Palworld Official Card Game is moving quickly into its second and third booster sets.
The second booster pack, “Awakening Legend,” launched worldwide on October 30 in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. The set introduces powerful Legendary Pals such as Jetragon alongside popular characters including Zoe and Lily, as well as the new character Saya.
But Bushiroad is already looking ahead.
Two new trial decks, “Endless Flight Red & Green” and “Endless Flight Blue & Purple,” are scheduled for December 18, followed by the third booster pack, “Endless Flight,” on January 29, 2027.
The third set will introduce a new gameplay mechanic called Rank Up, allowing players to stack Pals with the same main name to increase their rank and open up new strategic possibilities.
Bushiroad is also developing an official support app for the game. The planned app will help players track life, materials, ingredients, scores and determine who goes first during matches, with Japanese and English versions planned for 2026.
The Palworld card game will also get its first standalone Masters League event in Tokyo on December 6.
Shadowverse EVOLVE Teams Up With Granblue Fantasy
Shadowverse EVOLVE is getting a major crossover with Granblue Fantasy.
A dedicated collaboration pack featuring characters from Granblue Fantasy will launch on November 27, 2026.
The set will feature newly illustrated cards, including SP cards featuring Vira & Catalina and Sandalphon & Lucilius, while four SSP cards will feature foil-stamped signatures.
The collaboration will also extend beyond the cards themselves.
From December through January, participating stores will host Granblue Fantasy-themed events, with promotional cards and special rewards available to players.
Bushiroad is also preparing a large Grand Championship 2026 Winter Gunma event for January 9, 2027, with exclusive promotional cards and event prizes.
And Granblue isn't the only major addition coming to Shadowverse EVOLVE.
The booster pack “Mai Odoru Rikka” arrives January 29, 2027, bringing the Rokuyohime characters into Shadowverse EVOLVE ahead of their planned appearance in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.
Weiß Schwarz Goes Digital
One of the biggest announcements from the presentation is the arrival of Weiß Schwarz Online, bringing Bushiroad's long-running character card game into a dedicated digital format.
The game is scheduled to launch on March 25, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam.
Players will be able to battle online through several modes, including:
Room Fight
Free Fight
Ranked Fight
CPU Fight
Story Mode
The game will support Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Spanish.
The initial releases will include eight major franchises spread across the Weiß and Schwarz editions, including The Quintessential Quintuplets, BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica, Sword Art Online, Touhou Project, The Idolmaster Shiny Colors and Aogiri High School.
Bushiroad is also planning additional paid downloadable content after launch, with eight DLC releases scheduled through fall 2027.
For collectors, physical Nintendo Switch 2 editions will include exclusive promotional cards, with the Complete Edition containing a larger collection of cards and additional bonuses.
Girls und Panzer Rolls Into Weiß Schwarz
Just in time for the presentation, Girls und Panzer officially arrived in Weiß Schwarz on October 30.
The new release includes both a booster pack and two trial decks: Girls und Panzer: Oarai Girls High School and Girls und Panzer: Infinite Track Cup.
The booster set covers characters and memorable moments from the television anime through the theatrical film and Final Chapter, including teams from Oarai, St. Gloriana, Saunders, Anzio, Pravda, Kuromorimine, Continuation High School and Chi-Ha-Tan.
Collectors also have plenty to chase.
The booster set includes an extremely rare AGR autograph card featuring Miho Nishizumi voice actress Mai Fuchigami, four SSP signed cards and 13 SP signed cards featuring members of the cast.
The booster contains 114 card types plus 132 parallel cards, giving collectors plenty to hunt for.
The Quintessential Quintuplets Card Game Keeps Growing
The Quintessential Quintuplets Card Game also received new product announcements.
Booster Pack Vol. 8: “Love and Youth at Their Peak!” launched October 30, featuring new artwork of Yotsuba illustrated by original creator Negi Haruba as an SSSP card. The set also continues the ISP rarity and includes a mini shikishi-style art board as a box purchase bonus.
Bushiroad has already confirmed Booster Pack Vol. 9 for winter 2027.
This upcoming release will feature a new original illustration of Itsuki as an SSSP card.
More Weiß Schwarz Titles Are On the Way
The autumn presentation also confirmed additional Weiß Schwarz releases.
Among the announced products are:
MyGO!!!!! × Ave Mujica Vol. 2 — February 26, 2027
Aogiri High School Vol. 2 — March 12, 2027
Princess Connect! Re trial deck and booster pack — April 30, 2027
Meanwhile, WGP26-27 Season 2 will begin in January 2027 across six locations in Japan, continuing Bushiroad's organized-play push for Weiß Schwarz.
Bushiroad's TCG Strategy Is Getting Bigger
Taken together, the October presentation paints a much bigger picture than a collection of upcoming card sets.
Bushiroad is simultaneously pushing its games through new anime and game collaborations, collector-focused premium cards, organized play, international releases and digital gaming.
Palworld is expanding with new mechanics and an official support app. Shadowverse EVOLVE is bringing in major franchises such as Granblue Fantasy. Weiß Schwarz is moving into online competitive play while continuing to add major anime and gaming properties.
And with Girls und Panzer, The Quintessential Quintuplets, MyGO!!!!! × Ave Mujica and Princess Connect! all receiving new products, Bushiroad clearly isn't slowing down its licensed-property strategy.
For TCG players and collectors, 2027 is already shaping up to be a very busy year for Bushiroad.
